Victaulic AGS Full Flow Fittings: Elbow
Victaulic, the world's leading manufacturer of mechanical pipe-joining systems, introduces AGS Full Flow Fittings with Vic-Rings, a line of grooved carbon steel pipe fittings for abrasive applications in the mining industry. The fittings are designed for use with the AGS (Advanced Groove System) Vic-Ring System, which simplifies the installation and extends the service life of large-diameter abrasive service piping systems.
AGS Full Flow Fittings enable fast installation without field preparation. The fittings feature integral Victaulic AGS Vic-Rings, eliminating additional fabrication requirements and pipe preparation time. The AGS design permits increased pipe-end/component-end separation for easy alignment and quick installation.
AGS Full Flow Fittings can extend the life of abrasive service piping systems. The integral Vic-Rings maintain a smooth bore through the fitting with no reduction in wall thickness at the joints, making the fittings ideal for applications such as tailings and slurry lines.
Victaulic AGS Full Flow Fittings are available in sizes ranging from 12 to 48 inches (300 to 1,200 millimeters), and are offered in a variety of straight and reducing styles, including elbows, tees, caps, concentric and eccentric reducers, and adapter nipples. The fittings can be supplied in standard weight or extra heavy construction, and are available for un-lined pipe or with abrasion- or corrosion-resistant rubber lining.
The fittings are an addition to the AGS Vic-Ring System, which includes Style W07 rigid AGS couplings, Style W77 flexible AGS couplings and AGS Vic-Rings. The AGS Vic-Ring System is rated for pressures of up to 350 psi (2,400 kPa).
