DC Fire and EMS reported: “Below grade rescue 800 block 4th St SW. Adult female fallen approximately 10 feet down in an air well. She is being treated for injuries and working on plan for extrication.”

“Update below grade rescue 800 block 4th Street SW. #DCsBravest successfully removed patient using pulley system & stokes rescue basket. Adult female transported serious non life threatening injuries. This took place when grate collapsed beneath victim.”
