He was born on March 15, 1939, in Johnsonburg, Pa., the son of John Paul Haser Sr. and Alzbeta (Harris) Haser.
Jack was a 1956 graduate of Sheffield High School. He honorably served his country in the U.S, Army as a medic. He married the love of his life, Irene Kulka in 1960 at the original St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church in Sheffield.
He gained employment at the National Forge as a furnace technician in heat treat operations, retiring after well over 40 years of service.
Jack was a faithful man who had a heart of gold, he always had a smile and a joke to tell, but genuinely cared about how others were doing.
He was an active member of the St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church in Sheffield. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus where he was actively involved with the Lenten fish fries. He was a member of the Sheffield Rod and Gun Club, and the Sheffield Veerans of Foreign Wars. He loved the outdoors, going hunting and fishing and enjoying a good game of golf. He was an avid supporter of local sporting events as he attended countless games and events along with his lifelong friends: Marty Kasaback and Donald Labesky. The three of them had a brotherhood bond. Above everything else Jack was the biggest supporter of his family. He and Irene raised three wonderful children. Jack will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving him especially his family and the community of Sheffield.
Left behind to cherish Jack’s memory are his wife, Irene Haser of Sheffield; his children: Christopher (John) Haser and his wife, Cheryl of State College, Michael Anthony Haser of Warren, and Michele (Missy) Haser Klingenberg and husband, Arnold of West Chester, Pa.; four grandchildren: Kristen (Nick) Beamon, Zoe, Annie and Sam Klingenberg; four great-grandchildren: Peyton, Georgia, Everett and Charlie Beamon. He is also survived by a brother, Joe Haser and his wife, Magali, of Atlanta, Ga.
